In Meadow Vista’s older homes, we commonly find tree root intrusion, pipe deterioration from age, and issues related to ground settling over time. Many homes here were built in the late 1970s, which means sewer lines are reaching the age where problems typically start developing.
Tree roots are particularly common in our area because of the mature landscaping. Roots naturally seek out moisture, and even tiny cracks in aging pipes can attract them. Once inside, roots can quickly create blockages or cause more serious pipe damage. We also see mineral buildup from Placer County’s hard water, bellied pipes from ground movement, and general wear that comes with decades of use.
The camera inspection shows us exactly what’s happening, so you know whether you’re dealing with a simple blockage or something that needs more attention.
